Indigo plate: I call this new series "Indigo" because it is inspired by the highly patterned indigo-dyed fabric of the Yoruba of Nigeria. The color I've chosen for it is more like the color of indigo as it comes out of the vat, before it's matured into the deep blue associated with its name.
